My Dad’s Humor…

I miss my dad’s humor. I was in need of an example of a greeting card for an online presentation I do every week. I found a card my dad created and used as an invitation for his 2006 Halloween invitation. His card is funny and made me laugh for a moment and then the wave of emotion of his loss hits me once again. He is gone…

Ah… his since of humor, left for me to experience in all the cards he created. It’s bitter sweet really. Glad to have all his cards; however, I would choose to have him back with me here on earth.

Unfortunately we cannot have everything; but what I do have is his cards and I am grateful. One of my greatest fears since my dad has passed is that he will be forgotten. What I have come to realize is he left his legacy, his identity, his humor, his grace, his perfection in all the cards he created and sent out to his friends and family. Powerful…

I guess my dad was needed somewhere else…but his cards remain with me.
